MAN and LAN

Local PC networks are nowadays important part of every organization regardless of its size. In town agglomerations metropolitan area networks are growing at the same time. The local networks are usually based on structured cabling. Metropolitan area networks are built up in usage of optical cables with possible modifications, which are completed with wireless transmissions.

On the structured cable system it is possible to use the various network technologies based on the different transmission methods, e.g. Ethernet, Token Ring, CDDI, ATM.

Nowadays, Ethernet is the most widely used network technology. This technology is (regardless of it is 10 MB Ethernet or its faster alternation – Fast and Gigabit Ethernet) based on the very simple principal, called CSMA/CD.

In its history, Infinity Inc. introduced hundreds of these networks and their interconnections. Besides implementation of the networks we also do a service, maintenance and further development of these networks of our customers.
